A personal budgeting tool for the Garcia household.

This is a private, non-commercial application used only by our household (Yurguis Garcia and spouse) to manage our own accounts. It is not offered to the public and has no other users.

What it does

It projects our checking account balance through the month and plans our rent, bills and credit card payments so the balance stays above a safety buffer. It suggests how much to pay on each card and when. We make every payment ourselves through our banks.

What data it uses

Through Plaid, with read-only access to our own accounts:

• Account balances
• Transactions
• Credit card statement details: balance, minimum payment, due date and APR

The application cannot move money, make payments or change anything at our banks.

How the data is handled

• It runs only on a personal computer with full-disk encryption and is not exposed to the internet.
• Bank access tokens are additionally encrypted before they are stored.
• All traffic to Plaid uses HTTPS.
• Nothing is shared with, sold to or used by anyone else.
• Disconnecting a bank removes it from Plaid and deletes its transactions from the application.
